    Question Online Beginner?

hey everyone, I am thinking about starting to play online and I have a few questions about it. Should I go with full tilt? Is it safe to deposit money with a credit card? Is it easy to withdraw money? Input appreciated, thanks in advance.

Fulltilt is a great site to start out on. Yes, credit cards are safe, but sometimes aren't accepted. I prefer a store bought debit card wich in my case was purchased at walgreens (can be refilled at will). And yes withdrawls are pretty easy. GOOD LUCK!!!!

It is perfectly safe and at Tilt you are guaranteed the game of your choice round the clock. Make sure you visit your chosen site through a rakeback site and if I where you I would start at a very low level until you get the feel for poker online. As pegboy says your credit card may not be accepted but there is no harm in trying, once you are on the site of your choice they will give you a pretty big list of deposit methods.

I also believe the Full Tilt is safe, and in my opinion they have the nicest software. So that's where I would start if I could do it al over again.

Most credit cards I've tried using haven't worked, but I have one currently that does work...not sure why. That's the easiest method for me, so it's worth a try.

These 2 things have already been mentioned but they are worth repeating as it could save you a lot of money:

    1. Make sure you signup through a rake back site. I wish I had.
    2. Start low stakes. Take some time to get adjusted to online poker.

Also, don't forget to check out some of the poker tools available to help out your online play. Here's a great list to get you started. Pokertracker and sharkscope are both great tools.

awesome info guys, thanks a lot. I was honestly planning on playing .01/.02 cash because I'm not a cash player at all, but I want to learn and get better so I can compete at the CSC. I'm a member of pokerspace.com, is that a rakeback site?

no worries, I got it fixed. Although I do have a question now about my first time 100% deposit bonus, when and how do I get that applied?

Jarrod check the "bonus" tab in the Full Tilt cashier. Here is a thread that may or may not be helpful. Good luck
