Hey guys, went on my interview yesterday. Thought it was pretty positive. They dont mind a trainee, in fact the branch manager who I would report to had no previous experience in the dental field either when he was hired. I was able to correlate my previous 31 yrs in mortgage banking to what would be happening all over again for me in this new field. I started from scratch and rose up the ranks to make the most one could make in a salary and learned the business inside and out. I can do that again, and embrace the challenge. Wish me luck! Cross your fingers.....Now on to poker
Been tossing and turning over whether to play online more (actually I have been playing alot more online) compared to Omaha at Boulder. I've played 36 tournaments this week (7 days) with a return on investment of 13% and in the money 31% of the time. The smallest field was around 400 while the largest was over 4500. Obviously I dont have much money online as it has to be an amt I am willing to have disappear in a minute without crying about it, so its really hard to invest in. Compared to driving 25 mins ea way, dealing with the smoke and cash flow seems to fair worse than staying home playing tournies all day.
I've been rereading Arnold Snyders Tournament formula and find his take quite revolutionary compared to stated current tournament strategies. I think what I've been coached and taking from his book is really helping me out. I know that 36 tournies aint shit, but before Black Friday I was playing 300-400 tournies monthly and a winning player. I know until legalized I will never play online poker like I did before so its kinda hard to really work on the game with limiting access and a limited bankroll. Guess getting this job would be great for the bankroll regardless of what I play LOL
