And that's exactly what I did. There were 979 entrants in my event. 117 get paid. Today, Sunday there are 20 left and most of the stars are gone. I went out 404th about 90 mins after the dinner break. I was pretty much card dead the last 3 hours or so and there is nothing you can do when playing High Low if you dont have the hands to play.
Sitting at my table was Eli Elizra. He didnt try to run over the table or anything like that, and I outlasted him. I tried to make a run for it before dinner as I thought being so short stacked that waiting 90 mins for dinner to end just to go out shortly after that was a waste but never had a chance to make a move, so dinner break comes and goes.

I make it thru the first hour after dinner and Daniel Negraenau sits at the next table, and over from him is Men "the man" Nguyen who's drunk and arguing with David Williams. Mike Matusow is a couple of tables from me as is Phil Ivey, I was pretty surprised that my coughing wasnt such a big deal but after dinner the guy sitting next me made a comment. I ignored him.

It was alot of fun and look forward to playing in my league this coming year for next year.
Went to the movies last night and saw Battleship. It was really cool "effects" and storyline so so. I hear they say its a flop as ticket sales arent close to what they needed, so they are calling it a flop, still I enjoyed it.
Its been 10 days since i started to get sick. While in the movie theatre last night I had to step out like 3 times as not to be a coughing nusance and be polite to the other movie goers. I've not played any cash games since being sick and really, really want to, need to go play but holding back until i'm really better as being at the movies revealed I'm really not 100% ready to be in a smokey casino with lotsa people around.
So for ending May I lost a few hundred compared to only losing 40 the prev month....not what I had hoped for, but i'm ready to start again for June and make amends for the prev losing months. Hopefully see you at the tables soon. Cya
