Okay, so it s not a bracelet event, but it's big money. As some of you may know they have a Deep Stack tournament every single day at two PM at the WSOP and it seems to be the granddaddy monster non bracelet event. There are anywhere from 1200 to 1600 players every single day. Depending on the amount of players it pays from the mid $40,000 to over $55,000 first place.
I've heard rumors that when they chop it appears there are issues for who gets the W2'G for the most money as Harrahs will not split it tax wise. This could be a long day as I've witnessed at around 7 PM they've made the money with about 400 runners left getting close to double the buy in ($435). I'm going to play like it was a Poker Stars 4,000 man tournament as I am most comfortable in that format, yes I know this is live and probably one of the largest tournmants I'll ever play as the Event bracelet Omaha 8 I played had around 1,000 players. I will have to muster up everything I learned from David "The Maven" Chitcotsky to make this work, and I did learn alot from him. Even one of our members here on this site was also mentored by him (staci) who has done pretty well in the tournament arena.

Oh.... did I say this was NL hold em- Yep, that's right. I havent played NL holdem in ages. The last live tournament was back when The Sahara was still open and their friday night 100+ player tournament was the one to play and I made the money a few times. I was talking to couple of my tablemates at the cash Omaha 8 game friday who have played this tournament, and they said it was pretty awesome as one made it like 40th and another one made it 4th winning over 20K. I want to thank my buddy Tom for pushing me to play this as its abit over my head buy in wise and (I just dont like spending 235 for one tournament yet I have no problem spending 200 in a cash game)

C'mon guys, this is the WSOP that only comes around once a year, so spending 235 is no big deal. Even my wife said I should go for it. So, today is the day and I appreciate all the love all the support of my friends and family. Cya
