Here are some hands from my WSOP 2 pm tournamnet that I went out 201st out of 1285 players, but did I say "8 days a week" in my title.....Aint that a Beatles tune? Speaking of the Beatles, it was Ringo's 72nd birthday yesterday and its been 50+ years since they hit America. It's strange as I use to say I hated the Beatles as they were all over the radio and couldnt get away from them. Yet I know every single song (almost) they ever did and the worst part is I know every single word to most of their songs. By the way my favorite album was the "White Album" what was yours? (visit me on Facebook and tell me)

You must be thinking what the hell is this guy talking about? Well I went and saw Beatlemania last night and it was really, really cool. It was sold out for two nights in a row, the band was great, the music was great and everybody was really happy. I guess I miss them in my heart. Enough said, lets move on to poker.

The first hand I played in my tournament occurred when I had pocket queens. I raise preflop, one caller then get 3 bet. I fold (yes I fold) the original caller now 4 bets.... whoa, WTF.... flop comes with an ace and 4 bettor checks original 3 bettor bets and 4 bettor shows pocket kings and folds.
Next few hands I have pocket 4's, This happended 3 times and twice i scored with a set and next a flopped full house. I think 44 is my new favorite hand LOL.

I folded AQ a few times preflop as the raisers were not your typical raisers and I was surely dominated. I did know though that if a certain two players at my table raised I would of 3 bet them, but never had that hand when they played.
I did have a few small blind vs big blind opportunities that I took advantage of and kept me in the game.
I did have some late position hands like King Jack and ace ten where I was able to steal the blinds and or miss the flop and represent a big hand which also kept me in the game.

The hand that ended my tournament as I was terribly short stacked happened when I was in the BB with 99 and a new player at the table shoved all his chips in the middle and he had a lot of them. I obviously called heads up and he turns over AK, he misses the flop and the turn and of course an Ace on the river knocks me out. I was pretty impressed with the way and how I played! I cant wait until next year to play in the WSOP again. Cya
