Sorry if this is "cheating," but I just started a poker blog on blogspot at
http://vorpalraise.blogspot.com/ and thought I would link it here in case any bad beaters would be interested. I'm doing it mostly to keep my motivation up, since that is usually the first thing to go once I start having too much fun boozing all the time, or enter a (gasp) downswing.

    A great read, hope you downswing turns around. Could you reccomend me a book? I only play cash games, so no tourney books, I also mainly play 6 seat. Ive read Harrington cash game vol 1. Also Secrets of short handed poker, Elements of poker recently. Any suggestions??

    Hey thanks!

    The book I'm reading right now to prepare for Vegas is pretty sweet- Professional No Limit Hold Em. So far it's been dealing with a lot of meta game decisions based around stack size and the concept of committal. I'm about half way through and loving it.

    Lol, thanks for reading. The only time I ever get around to posting blogs is when it's late, I'm high as a kite and feeling bummed or excited. . . so please don't mind the manic depressive qualities!

    I have been getting high the last 10 years..know exactly how you feel.


    working on a novel for over 2 years now and everytime I start writing or do some research I fall into the same state of mind.
