This song was originated by an old timer back in 1937. Lots of greats have redone the song, none stand out more than the Ten Years After rendition (see video below and check out the guitar playing at like the 2.20 minute spot). The Dead do a great rendition as both were done in the late sixties. Alvin Lee of ten years after is considered one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived. In the same category as Jimi Hendrix.

what I find really interesting is there is no way this ...

So in 1971 I was playing cards with a bunch of degenrate kids. We were all of 13-15 yrs old. We would play in the stairwells of high rise buildings in Queens NY, sometimes outright play on the sidewalk and pedestrians side stepped us. If was definately the good ole days. This song (not really a song but a skit for us weirdos of the day) was one of our favorites and we sang (not exactly singing) some of the lines for years. After hearing it recently after 40 yrs brought a genuine smile to my ...

Before I get into my post I was at the Orleans last night and noticed atleast 3 or 4 backpacks sitting up on the shelves. Prime picking for the thiefs

How good am I getting. Last night I folded AA preflop for the first time in my life as neither were suited. The night before I folded A2 preflop There was heavy preflop betting and I had like A279 unsuited. I am to the point now where its an automatic fold with no Ace in my hand. The problem then was ...

  5. Zumba Workouts

    by , 04-01-2012 at 10:19 AM
I was going to comment on both poker and Zumba but decided to just leave it at Zumbo for now. Most of my life I've not been into exercising ever-well except for a short time in the 90's it lasted all but a month. Its not like I have to exercise cause I'm heavy or something like that. Exercising these days is more about staying healthy. I do more vitamins and I havent had a cigarette in close to 6+ yrs (thats after smoking for 35 yrs) Now that I stay home alot and working out of the house I found ...
