7/10 wins, 25/50 finaletables and I feel like half the days I've put in has been half-empty volume.

Much can be said about variance, much can be blaimed on variance, but variance still doesnt mean shit either way. It just does not make a difference, it is not a factor I, you or anyone else can control. My results this far has been good, but does it really mather? No.

I have been slobby in my preparations before many of my sessions. Either I did not work out, slept too long, did not prepare the food and water I needed for the long sessions or I just did not spend my time as I should have before the sessions. Which results in me not being 110% focused in every tournament. My play this far this month has overall been pretty good, but I vary from the brilliant to the absolutely horrid. I catch myself sometimes in some tourneys in close spots just not giving a fuck and shoving it in.

So back to what I was talking about concerning variance.

Seems to me that poker players have a habbit of believing that if they are 25% ROI players they can just registrer and cash the 25% in their pockets if they just play enough. This is so utter bullshit.

Each tournament you play you have an expected outcome directly related to how you played that single tournament. If a good player did a mistake on the river in the first hand, he just lost himself money.

My opinon about ROI's is that its the average result of how you handle every tournament. Your true ROI when playing your A-game could be 150% in a MTT, but no one is capable of that and everyone has MTT's where they for one reason or another just played a negative expected tournament. Empty volume would then be if I play 75MTT's one night where I played half of them really good, and then got tired and did not care.

So here is something I have to work with. Prepare. Hope this made sence to someone.

Tonight I fucking hate my life. I want to go places, do things and not be stuck infront of this darn computer all day.

Miss a ton of my friends who are away studying and stuff. Wish I was planning a cabin trip this weekend with friends and picturing reading a good book at day while being wasted at night instead of setting up a MTT schedule.

Enough negativity. I life a awesome life. I promise tomorrow Ill be prepared and not such a emo.

If I am happy with how I perform the next 5-6 days I will take a chunk of next weekend off.

Oh and I have allready prepared a song for when I win this. If anyone nails the song in first attempt I'll shipp 500$ (there is really no chance you make it, but it suits the moment).
