Exclamation Chipless Wonder's $100,000 Profit in 2009 Online Poker Saga

In our 2009 Poker Goals thread, I listed a very aggressive online poker goal for myself.

I plan to update this thread with my progress at least monthly. Please feel free to tar and feather me if I'm not performing up to par.

    Wanna race??

I like this, now I have someone to "unofficially" compete against in my quest. Good luck to you sir, and I'm looking forward to seeing how you do.

Not to doubt ur undubitable skills Scott but I'm not entirely sure a 50% ROI could be maintained over a large sample. I admire a man who aims high and U will definitely feast but I'm not sure that 50% is achievable in the 45-format. Assuming u are the number 1 45 69er in the world next year (which u def could be), I think any ROI above 30% would be ridiculously sick. 35%+ and I would instantly buy all the products that u endorse. 40%+ and I would worship at ur temple.

I've only played a little over 300 of the $75 x 45-player SNGs, since I couldn't really afford them until July. Over the last six months I have averaged > 50% ROI in these games, so I definitely think this goal is achieveable. Thank you for your support!

hate to add to the downers, goals are great but this one just is not sustainable, only reason i say this is the #1 online player in the world cannot do this.

edit- it is possible from MTT's, but not from 45 mans

edit 2- im going to go ahead and say its a good goal just because no one has ever done it doesnt mean you cannot be the first

Shoot... first one to $100,000 for 2009 needs to buy us a BIG ol' round of DRINKS!!!

We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don't like.

I think this goal is possible with more quantity if he plays 500 tournemants in a month then it would be possible. I think itīs very hard to keep an ROI high like Scott for over 1000, 2000 or 3000 game. I had 1000 games where I was nearly breakeven and another 1000 where I had good ROIs....

I say however you can make it....$100,000. And when I say "wins" I just means like...."good job, you won"...no money involved lol

You should keep track of online....it IS still money..
