    Check Check All In

What do most people have when they call a raise preflop out of position and then check down to the river before going all in???

Does it always mean the nuts?

Does it sometimes mean the nuts or a huge hand?

Does it sometimes mean the nuts/huge hand or a sign of a steal?

I have my opinions on this sort of play but would love to hear what others think before answering.. I know stack size and type of event play a role but just think in averages here.. What is the average player doing in the average situation making this play? And do you like to do the same?

    In a vacuum... The nuts.

    Checkraise flop... shit, didnt work.

    Checkraise turn... shit, didnt work.

I'm all in, (please call, please call, please call)

Of course it is not always this but a good starting point...

now-a-days, at least online, i never slowplay this bad. I will try to checkraise flop (so many players cbet), and if that doesnt work, I am leading the turn. Live I might pull this play.

"You have it in your power to turn a bad-beat around simply by realizing this simple truth: The more bad beats you encounter, the luckier you are. It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone"

    Get me at the tables...
