    Early level big reraise...

Ok, for those of you who aren't aware, my hand recall isn't always the best. But, I'll try to get this one from last night correct as I have way too much time here sitting in the airport.

7-handed, I think it was level 2 (20/40) and stacks were still around 3k. CO-1, we'll call him Studly O'Studerson, makes it 120 to go. It folds to Pepe Le Peu in the BB, who repops to around 230 total. Initial pf raisor calls and the flop is:

and... er, something else that I don't think made any difference.

Le Peu bets about 300. Studly dips into the tank for just a little bit, and then repops to 1200...

Question A: What does either play have?

QUestion B: What do you do if you're Pepe?

OK, I'll give it a shot. Studly doesn't have AA or he'd have just called on flop. Too early for a bluff vs strength so I think he has KK. I think Pepe has a big A, maybe even AK and better fold. But since you're highlighting this hand it's probably something much more ridiculous.

God I wish I made as many hands as some of you, so I to could conclude that it must be AK vs KK. ;p J/K, it is entirely possible that both are really strong. Is it not also possible, however, that the player in the BB is putting out a defensive, "dont bluff me" continuation bet with QQ? But like you, since Charlton posted it I think it probably is something ridiculous. Something like AK vs KK!

Its online poker, isnt every other hand AK vs. KK? j/k

If "studly" is a very aggressive player, could he repop here with just something in the range of AT-AQ trying to show strength??? Or maybe he could have even had bottom set in this spot as well and think he is good here? Also, what about the chances of having middle pocket pair and trying to take the pot away that way as well?

Let me give this one a shot...

Question A: What does either play have?
Pepe Le Peu in the (BB) - he put in almost a minimum re-raise from pre-flop. I would have to put him on a very strong hand here, since he was wanting to see a flop from out of position and he wanted to sweeten the pot. My guess at this point is A-A, K-K, Q-Q or A-K. Then when he bet out with a flop like that I think it's relatively safe to rule out A-A, K-K or A-K. Q-Q should probably bet here, in order to find out where he is in the hand. So at this point I'd probably put him on Q-Q or J-J, or possibly even 10-10. Q-Q is my best guess.

Studly O'Studerson (CO-1) - he put in a normal-sized pre-flop raise with position, so I'd have to give him a very broad range pre-flop. Post-flop he puts in a nice raise with an ace and king on the board, after his opponent has shown strength twice. So I think we can narrow his holdings down to A-A, K-K, A-K or A-Q. And I'm likely to rule out A-Q if I knew that Pepe had A-Q.

Obviously, it'd be far easier to predict one player's cards, if we knew the other player's cards, and could eliminate those from the equation.

Question B: What do you do if you're Pepe?
If I'm Pepe and I indeed have Q-Q, J-J or 10-10, I definitely have to fold here.
