    KQo at ISPC

Blinds are 1000/2000 w/300 ante. Average stack ~$70,000

I went on a mini rush and just complete stacking my chips which equaled about $105,000.

In MP I wake up with KQo as it is folded to me. I raise to $5,000. The table chip leader is in the BB andhas ~ $120,000. He has been the tighest player at the table. He reraises me to $14,000.

I have been active, picking up a few blinds here and there. I think the CL realized this as he reraised me the time before I raised his blind leading to me folding.

I think he is protecting his blind and putting me to the test as he probably thinks I'm stealing.

What do I do next? Fold, Call, or Reraise?

I think you fold here. Basically you got caught stealing. 1)You'll be out of position 2) if you hit your flop it will be very hard to know exactly were you stand, again raising out of position. I get caught up in spots like this and am convinced the villain is restealing only to find out I was wrong...lol. I say fold and wait for a better spot. If youve allready stolen a few blinds your +ev anyhow. Why possibly let 1 hand make your previous plays -ev.

I like your raise size here Bruce. It makes this fold to his re-raise even easier.

Larry, I was actuall yin position since he was in the big blind.

Ok, so I figured he was trying to resteal thinking I was raising a wide range (which I kind of was). Remember he 3 bet me once before which I folded to. So to show him I had strength, I came back with a 4 bet for $16k more.

Any thoughts? What do you think the villian did?

The villian says "I'm just not good enough to fold so I'm all in." Obv I fold and he shows KK.

I feel bad about giving away a third of my stack but I don't feel bad about my play. I made a read, took a shot, and ran into a monster.

Any other thoughts? Am I just an idiot or is anyone ok with my calculated risk.
