    hand from team tournament

Last night i was put in an interesting situation

Blinds are 150-300 i am two away from the button full table. Two people in front of mt limp i look down at i have 8700 in front of me about average stack I raise to 1500 small and big blind fold the first limper moves all in and the second limper folds.

Information: He has 300 more chips then i do. When i asked if he would show he said only one card but i could pick the card. In my opinion the guy is a good player who raised about one time each orbit around the table.

    What would you do ????

Pre-flop my default play here is to probably raise to ~1,500. I might change this if I'm short on chips, or one of the limpers seems suspicious for some reason.

After the limper raises all-in from under the gun, I'm pretty sure I'd have to fold.

At best, the other player has AK and you'll most likely chop. More likely, you're calling hoping to see QQ. Most likely, you're at best 30%. I'd want to see that one card. If it's an A or K, fold. If it's a Q, then decide if you want to flip for your tourney life.

    I would fold here.

    Any two cards...

^ I doubt he was willing to show that 1 card before the decision was made...

but this is where playing a "team tourny" could make things interesting...

Is he willing to limp early possibly ending up in a big pot against a teamate with a hand like AA or KK?

or is it more likely that he is trying to pick his spot and and be aggressive against his enemys?

he could be exploiting his image and the "rules" of the game here...or you could be smashed...

folding here is probably your best play...you are not toooo invested as of yet and are capable of making a simular play to reaquire the lost chips

but the call wouldnt be terrible either
