    2/5NL hand at Gemini

okay so i'm not sure how many of you are familiar with Gabe the older french lebanese guy who plays at the gemini alot so if you don't this wont might look like a really easy fold...and it may have been....but he is a verrrry looose player who I have seen move allin on the draw many many times....move allin with nothing occasionally and of course move allin with a strong hand....he loves to draw though and he considers me to be an overly aggressive player who bluffs alot....
we are playin 2/5 with a $10 straddle....7 people limp in ($75 in the pot) and it gets to me in the small blind and I make it $65 to go with KhKd...Gabe calls...flop comes Qd10d7h...I bet out $100 and he thinks about it for awhile and calls...oh and he started the hand with 565 and i had about 1200...turn is the 5d...I check and he goes allin for $400 more...this bet made no sense to me cause I have played alot with him and with nut diamond draw on flop he would normally instacall $100 without thinkin about it....and if he hit he normally tries to get value and I can't tell you how many times I've seen him get his hands cracked for betting too small with his big hands cause he doesnt want tos care people away...so I really feel taht he has either a pair and a good diamond draw or a straight and flush draw or worst case scenario is he has a made flush and I can redraw cause on a board like that I don't think he would bet $400 with the nuts cause there are very few hands I can call with....so do you call? and what do you think he has

He does not have the nuts, based on your reads.

I put him on a set, trying to ignore your reads a little bit. Your reads in your situation are your reads, however, I would probably put him on a set, KJ is hard to believe with you holding KK, 89 with one diamond is possible after you showed weakness by checking, Q10 is possible, because a lot of gemini players play hands like that to a raise.

Bottom line is this would be a very fence decision for me at the table and I probably play it the same way you do and fold. If I have no reads.

With your reads, and my understanding of this situation, I think I still fold, you are just not being offered odds to call even though you know the diamond will almost always make you good. (Unless he has AdQx, would he raise that preflop?)

So depending how rock solid your read is, fold. Find an easier place to make some money than the hero call.

It would be very tough to do, but I think I would fold here. Simply because I know I would be able to get it back later if he does not give it away before the next opprotunity.

I have played him many times, and in fact the last time I was there and played cash w/him I emptied him twice do to his need to draw.

I haven't read the other responses yet.

Against Gabe at the Gemini, I call. Specifically he has a pair plus a flush draw that MIGHT be better than your flush draw.
