1/2 cash game hand at Wheeling Island

Went last night with $200 and has the mind set that I wanted to play for awhile and not get into any big hand coin flips. Was 75 minutes into the game before I won my first hand. After about 3 hours of playing super tight the table structure had a major change. 3 of the easiest players left and 3 young guys sit. I hit a boat, and win a big pot against one of them, and he mumbles "he had it all the way", guy next to him that has been sitting here for along time says "super nit", and other stuff that I couldn't here. Next couple of hands I raise preflop and all 3 new guys call, and I had to let go of some small pots, no biggie.

My question is about this next hand. I'm UTG with KK and raise to $12, the 3 guys call again. Flop comes T98 all hearts. One of my kings is a heart. What do you do? I led out with a $25 bet, next guy raises it to $70, other 2 guys fold, it's on me, what do you do now? I look to see how much he has behind, he has about $120. First thought is "Not sure why he just ran everyone out of the pot if he has a monster." My gut says ship it, my brain says this is the point in a session where you f up.

I folded, got up and walked away up $60 for the night. I can't stop thinking about this hand. I see now that since the 3 guys were calling everything preflop that the bet needed to be around $18 instead of $12 but I'm not sure how much that changes everything. Should I check the flop? Should I have bet more after the flop? Should I have shipped the re-raise?

I like ur bet to $12 preflop but if u feel as though u have several preflop calling stations at the table then its never any hard to make it a bit more.

The flop is as gross as they come for you without there being an ace. Versus 3 players and I'm assuming out of position to all, I would definitely check and probably call one bet but fold if there is a bet and a raise.

Your KK could be good but it is not far ahead (if ahead at all) of any hand that u beat that comes along for the ride (pair+straight draw, pair+flush draw, straight+flush draw).

There are also a ton of spots where u are behind and only drawing to your flush outs but even in this spot, cards that make u the second nut flush might make someone else a nut flush or straight-flush.

I ship it here. I had a similar spot last night where I had AK on an AJ9ddd board and got donk bet $20 into like $60. I'm not used to being bet into like that so I just shipped it in and he showed the 8d?? and folded.

This is a spot I'd be willing to take all night in a cash game I believe.

Very read based. Alot of young guys are all about agression and buying pots. Without sitting at the table for some time, I believe its impossible to give the right answer here. So I fold....LOL.

ya I suppose they're totally different.. was just alluding to tricky spots with <100bbs on drawy boards

If this guy plays like you described (young internet type), he's raising with so many hands that are drawing-type hands - JhTx-7x, AhJx-7x (maybe any Ah), and hands that you're behind - any straight, flopped flush, any two-pair, set... I'm shipping here 100% of the time against this type of player (and most other types of players). You have outs (and outs to outs) against two-pair and a set, and you're ahead of all the drawing hands.

I'm shipping. I just don't see it being unprofitable getting it all in. Against his range I'm guessing its close but still profitable.

I'm not shipping in $170 on a hand where I MIGHT be SLIGHTLY ahead. He could so easily be drawing to 17 outs its sick. Its not worth risking the cash. I think bad play shipping KK here. Its again one of those hands that could blow you're night. This is a complete gamble as far as I'm concerned. You're probably ahead, could be behind allready, and you could be drawing basically dead, or at least to a runner runner. Too many possibilities to ship it IMO. If hes a complete dorm room agro, then I might, but is there any proof of that? If not fold. I would even be concerned shipping a flopped str8 here....... Maybe I'm too much of a NIT, but why turn 1 pair into a possible $400 pot after a flop. Lets say the flop was a rainbow and the same line was taken. Would you still ship it? Not me. Not unless I had alot of information on the player being an idiot. Secondly if he truely is that agro with a marginal hand, I can guarantee I will stack him before the nights over, but rather when I KNOW i have him crushed.
