Impressive Performance in Orleans Nightly tournament

I'm happy to say that I cashed in 7th place tonight at the Orleans tournament of 108 people. Nothing "hall of fame" worthy, but great for me anyway!

I will post a couple hands tomorrow once I'm awake and thinking straight, but I will say I probably would have finished higher if it hadn't been for my usual massive bad luck.

The hand that ended my nice night was my pocket tens (my nemesis hand). A guy went all in for 22500, I had 26000, I call, because I know he's shoving with any Ace. I couldn't have hoped for better when I saw that it was A10 he made the shove with........that is until of course the inevitable 3 outer Ace flops right off the bat, leaving me with one blind.

Oh well, good start to my Vegas tournament life I suppose

Just over $500. Which is like a crapload when you're broke, like me I am not sure my week could have gone any better than it did - got a job finally and a nice little cash

NO, I was actually a good sport about it for once. Everyone I played with at the final table was very good and friendly. They were almost all local, so I'll be seeing these people regularly. Hopefully can get a few on the forum as well. So I figured I'd better behave

Ha....I'm not sure how impressive MY performance was...I was just happy to final table and cash that night, because frankly, things really didn't go my way card-wise. It was all making the right plays at the right times.

Now, if we're talking about IMPRESSIVE.......how bout that Chris Sparks character??
