why is 57o being opened from mp? if berating is going on, that would lead me to believe ppl are playing looser than what is perceived as standard, in which case 57o is a clear fold from anywhere except probably button/sb if button folds to min opens....

as played you have blockers to 55 and 77, 88 i would imagine in a big event would raise the flop b/c too many turn cards can come to slow the action way down (same with the case 55 and 77). 9T is possible, but i mean w/e. there are a ton of hands (89, 76, 86, 99, TT, A8, 66, flush draws, etc) that will likely call off another street but might not themselves bet, which is a disaster.. so as played i would do like...6800-ish re-evaluate on turn, and if someone jams i mean it really really looks 9T or JJ (if loose ppl flat JJ in big dinkaments then dont raise flop, which seems weird for live dumb guys to do both flat pre and not raise flop) and you can probably fold. but just way too many hands will call the turn that we have beat for checking to ever be a good option, bet/fold seems fine, unless they will jam Jxhh on the turn, in which case turns closer a bet/call. but yeah after some live experience now and bet/fold turn seems good

Hero flopped one of the best possible hands he could with that terrible starting hand. On the turn, a draw was filled, but not the most likely one. We are still way ahead here most of the time, and we need to charge the most likely draw to continue. So I think betting the turn is the correct play.

i like b/f turn your not getting raised on turn with worse after you get checked too, like foldimo's point about opening tighter into stations tbh
