Are you allowed to play a satellite after you have already satellited in?

If so is it paid in cash or can I sell the seat to someone else?

I know information will be up soon but do you know what % you are looking to put towards charity yet? (what % will be paid out?)

From what I remember at playing this last year the tournament was EXTREMELY deep and very well run with a pretty high payout %. If there are still any decisions to be made my biggest preference would be to create a final table payout scheme that does not force out a chop. In other words, make it reasonable with no one place at the final table more than 150% than that of the previous place. I know you guys like to advertise a big first place $$$ though...

I definitely recommend this event to anyone considering it. In fact, it is the only charity event I have come across that is worth playing.

"You have it in your power to turn a bad-beat around simply by realizing this simple truth: The more bad beats you encounter, the luckier you are. It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone"

I completely agree on both points.

By the way, if Dave's in, then I'm in, since I know how easy his chips are to acquire.

We are working on the payout structure. But it will still be 75% of total like always.

Yes you can win as many satellites as you want, but they all pay in vouchers (no money). What you do with those once you win one is up to you....I know alot of people sold them last year.

We will have SNG satellites every MON, TUE and FRI in Lima starting at 7PM each night starting this Friday. The Freeze-Out satellites will be a 9-person SNG with a $20 buy-in. First place pays $160 voucher.

And thanks Dave for your kind words. We have really worked hard to make these the best events that we can.

I am 95% sure I will be there and I will be telling as many of my friends as possible.

I think we should set up a forum last longer bet for those who play, maybe $10 a person Winner-Take-All?

yeah im pretty sure we did a forum last longer bet for the last one but I think it was $20.... although I don't remember cause I wasn't in long enough to care.....like they said I DEFINATELY recommend this event to anyone, and it is also the only charity tournament that I play....I was talking with Rex, (one of the guys who runs it), the other day and he said they are hoping to have SIX of these this year! Which was exciting news for me because it is hard to find a good live tournament in ohio that is well structured and worth your time.....the cash game...I will for sure be attending all of these tournaments, if only to get back the money I blew in the $2-$5 PLO8 game last time

I dont think you can have 6. I think a charity is only allowed two events in a calender year. I could be wrong though.

    Where are the satellites held?

The Lima Warriors can only have two events per year, but other charities in our area are using our formula to hold their events and Rex will be helping them as well. I think that is where Rex is getting that info from.

    SATELLITES

Will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night until the tournament. I may even add a Saturday morning in there once the tournament gets closer.

    Location:
    408 Brower Rd.
    Lima, Ohio 45801

RSVP with me to reserve your seat or just show up and hope a seat is available. Multiple Satellites will be run each day.
