The game is Texas Hold'em, no limit, $75 buy-in, no rebuys, 7,500 starting chips, 30-minute blind levels with antes. We have two tables of ten players each, plus two alternates for a maximum of 22 players per game.
We'll do our best to set up a schedule that doesn't interfere with other local poker tournaments, such as the Delaware Poker League and Dublin Poker League. Our games will most likely all be held on Saturdays for this season. The first two dates will be January 26th and February 16th.
These bi-monthly games rotate between Dana's poker room and Scott & Tracy’s poker room. Games begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp, so please arrive around 6:15. If you need to be late, please just call and we’ll blind you in. If you R.S.V.P. that you are playing, it's expected that you come ready to play. No shows are a major inconvenience to others, so if you’re a no show, we’ll remove you from the Evite list.
80% of the money will be paid back each night, with the remainder held back for a Tournament of Champions. 100% of the money will end up being paid back. None is withheld for league fees, etc.
Points will be awarded to everyone who makes the final table as follows.
First place = 1.0 point per player, so 22 players will be worth 22.0 points
Second place = 0.9 point per player, so 22 players will be worth 19.8 points
Etc.
Tenth place = 0.1 point per player, so 22 players would be worth 2.2 points.
Each player’s ten best scores (out of twelve games) will count towards his/her points total. T.O.C. starting stacks will be 10,000 for everyone.
After we play twelve games, the Tournament of Champions will be held at Scott & Tracy's Poker Room. You must play a minimum of four games this season to be eligible for our T.O.C. There will be free entry for the ten highest ranked players in the league. Those ranked #11 through #15 will be able to buy-in for half price ($125), and the remaining spots will be available for $250 each (minimum of four games played during current season).
We plan to keep the league standings current in this thread.
