Dana, Kim, Stacy and Kelly...Good Luck today in the Ladies Event. Keep us posted.
good luck too all the woman in my poker world
I'm so excited for our girls today.
Good luck to you all! :D
Thanks for your well wishes, Everyone!!
Let me tell you, the Ladies out here are FOCUSED on taking this tourney DOWN today....
We've all had relative good luck since we arrived, with each of us cashing in one game or another.
Most Notable:
Stacey Nutini - outlasts 115 players to chop 2nd through 5th place in the Venetian $180 buy-in tourney on Friday night for over $2100. Of course, she had to play until 4:30 A.M to do it!
Kim Music - wins a package in a LIPS poker event on Saturday that includes her buy-in into today's $1000 event AND a choice of a buy in into the Ladies Championship at Golden Nugget on Monday or the LIPS Championship at the Orleans on July 13th.
Kathleen Gliva - in the top 5 that chop the Caesar's $150 buy-in event on Thursday night for over $3000.
Please take a minute today to visualize us sitting at a poker table with HUGE stacks of YELLOW chips. A stack so high that you can only see the TIPS of our RED hair (oops, i mean hair.. lol).....
Thanks for sharing your great thoughts and good luck!
We need your :1zhelp:

The WSOP website has Dana listed as Dana Keutter and at 34K tied for 1st place.
Hopifuly the chip count is correct and it is just her name mispelled.
they just corrected the site now her name is correct, and in first place

Hour old info:
Dana had triple the average chip stack and was among the leaders.

70 $ 2,707 Dana Reutter
You Bad Beater's sure know how to support one of your own!
Thank you so much for all the good wishes and thoughts that were sent my way. It was a tough field and I played my heart out.
I have to admit, that I'm heartbroken to have gone out when and how I did. I had built myself back up to more than double average stack and just blew it.
In one hand..... every bit of it.....
The blinds were 600/1200 with 100 ante. I start the hand with more than $40,000 in chips. I'm in the cut off and have pocket 7s.
I raise to $5k. It folds to the button, who has been protecting her button like a she bear for the last hour or so when she got moved to my table. She has about $50,000.
She calls. Flop comes :10s::3d::5d:
She checks. I bet out $8k.
She thinks about it, then calls.
Turn is :Qs:
I can tell that she does NOT like this card. She checks. I sit there for a minute or two. I KNOW she did not hit that Queen....
Now there are two flush draws... and I still think my 7s COULD be good. So I put myself in her head... and decide to represent one of my fave hands :Ad::Qd:
I move all in.... for $24,900. She takes FOR --- EVER to make a decision, counting out her chips.... I know she's considering that she will be totally crippled if she calls and loses.
But she finally does..... with :10d::6d: River is :4h:
I finished in 70th place for $2707.
I have kicked myself all the way back to the room, for not making it through to tomorrow. Especially WHEN I had literally been so careful all day not to overplay hands and keep out of truly dangerous spots.
I only went all in 3 times, all day.
Constructive feedback on the hand would be greatly appreciated, but trust me, I've done too many of the "I told you so's, Dumb Ass" already!
The only other way I see to play it was to check the turn, then fold to her inevitable bet on the river... and live to see another day. Hind sight and all.... of course, that's the right thing.
But in my head.... I thought she would fold and I would become a MONSTER chip leader. My goal was to be aggressive and WIN this tournament.
Thoughts?
Great job Dana... Two years in a row making the cash is an awesome accomplishment.. Very proud...
Great work again Dana. When I read that hand on the WSOP website, I was disgusted. She called you with absolute garbage and got rewarded. That was as good of a flop as she could ask for. She should have even reraised you on the flop. Wow, she played everything terrible. How could you not trust your read? I think you did fine. Just a tough break.
Sounds like you played great Dana!! Like a true professional. I have to agree with Chad on that last hand. You played it perfectly and your opponents amateur play was rewarded.
The best of the pros are the ones who seize opportunities like that hand to make big moves to position themselves to win tournaments and not just blind themselves away to finish a few places higher. That's why it is always the fish that knock out the pros, because they don't know better than to lay down hands like that. I think you made a great play on this hand.
You should be proud of your play because we all are!!!!
Go get em in another tourney!
Great job Dana. You played your opponent well and ended up taking the worst of it, just bad luck. Good luck with any other events you'll be playing while you're there!
Great job Dana "Keutter" Reutter - never any doubt.
Ben
Dana, outstanding job! You should be very proud of yourself!
I think you played that hand like a pro Dana. Cashing in this event two years back to back is so impressive. Congratulations to you! :D
p.s. - love your new nickname :p
The girl that took me out is chip leader heading into Day Two with a little over $90k in chips......
The villain's name is Shavonne Mitchell.
;)
