    Talking Calling All Wii Owners!!!

I was wondering who all from the forum owns a Wii? I just picked one up Sunday afternoon and I am really impressed. I mean I saw it and played it at other people houses but now that I have one and I have checked out some reviews on IGN I am completely stoked to try out a bunch of the games.

I am planning to get a unlimited rental pass at Blockbuster so I can try a lot of games but I already own Mario Party 8 and am buying Kart as soon as I see it in stock somewhere.

The system is a perfect blend for hardcore, ex-hardcore (me), and casual gamers alike. Having owned a 360 and my brother owning a PS3, I am by far the most impressed with Wii.

Anyway, sales pitch aside, anyone got one that can play games online?? Or any games to recommend?
"You have it in your power to turn a bad-beat around simply by realizing this simple truth: The more bad beats you encounter, the luckier you are. It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone"

If you own a Wii, you absolutely must own Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If you don't, it's like owning an Xbox without a Halo game. There is no other game like Smash Bros. It is easily one of my top 3 favorite series of video games. As for online play, you can play Smash Bros. online, but it's pretty laggy. It's better to play with your friends in person anyway, and you can set up tournaments in the game and there's lots of different game modes and stuff. Definitely a solid game for both single and multiplayer.

You own a Wii then right, I forget?

I played Super Smash on N64 and was the reigning champion, I have not gotten back to it yet. Were you the one that recommended Wario Wares to me?

Yeah technically my girlfriend owns the Wii but we live together so pretty much anything we own is both of ours. I wouldn't recommend Wario Wares. It's really short, fast paced, weird, and you should probably be on crack when you play it. I thought it was dumb.

We have a Wii. We love it. We sports is great for everyone and that's the main game at our house to keep the kids busy while the adults are on the poker table. We don't own Mario Party 8, but it's another of our favorits.

My favorite game is Guitar Here III. We'll be getting the Aerosmith edition soon. I've done GH online and it's pretty fun if you don't have anyone at home to challenge you and you can play your friends too.
