Dave and I were walking through the Poker Palooza exhibit hall today at The Rio trying to think of things to bet on when we noticed a few challenges that seemed to have been set up just for us.
The first challenge was a ~ 60 foot putt. We both kept trying until we made it. One of us used to be a professional putt-putter and the other of us doesn't have much golf experience at all. One of us made this putt in 6 tries, and the other needed 16 attempts.
Next was the Sumo wrestling. We each had to strap on a ridiculous outfit weighing about 60 pounds, and stopped all use of your arms. The whistle would blow and your goal was to find a way to push or otherwise get your opponent to step out of the ring. We went best of five, and after four we were tied up. The fifth match was very close.
The tie breaker was jousting. We had to stand on foam pedestals that were about three feet high and swing six foot long foam things at each other. The format was best of three, so we both went for the kill immediately. After only two brief matches, one of was on the ground asking if it was over. The referee's answer was classic when she said, 'On yeah, it's definitely over'.
It should be fun to see who you all think would win each of these challenges.
p.s. - There is some video of the Sumo wrestling that should be coming out within the next week or two...
