Why do you play poker?

Most of us play day out day in. Have you ever stopped and asked: why you do it?

Is it for the money?

Is it for glory?

Is it to have something to do after putting children to bed?

Is it a creativ way of charity?

The reason I play it is about 50% for the money, and 50% to fill my competetiv hunger of doing something I'm quite decent at. I've tried cash games, and they got the most money.

But the reason I play poker is to paint that monitor blue. Knock out my opponents and having Vestvik7 on the top of the lobby after the tourney finish while the amazing message of "Congratulation" stare you in the face. The feeling of winning. I think I would rather take down a 45 man 26$ than finish second in a 75$.

I like poker for the competition. I would play a $1 tourney just as competitive as I would a $10k buy-in. Poker is a game, and as in all games the goal is to win. That is my goal every time I click that Register button. The money just comes along with it.

it makes me happy when i flop quads and the guy shoves his stack ...i ask for time and when is at 3 seconds left i move my mouse towards the call button when it hits 2 secons i click....

i like it because of the money and the dream of being able to play this game for a livin.
