I've played 2 live tournaments so far, both with disappointing results.

After a long string of bad beats in tournaments lately and seeing no pay off for hours of play, I decided to give cash games a shot. I've been playing them now for a few weeks, and following the rule of having at least 20 buy ins (of 100 BBs) to play at a level. Since starting I've really done well. On Saturday evening I made it to my first guarantee final table. It was only a 1k guarantee, but I wound up getting 7th, after being in 6th entering the final 10. It was a nice boost to my bankroll and sharkscope rating/100.

It felt pretty good to make my first final table in a big tournament like this. I think I am going to try to fit in some more guarantees throughout the week when I have spare time.

I finally have managed to get some bankroll management rules in place, and adhere to them for once.

I just put money online a few days ago, have had most winning days in 9 player sngs, worked my bankroll up to 65% over what I bought in with, and was ranked in the top 50 on a sng leaderboard.

And today I lost all my winnings. Great.
