$3 Knockout Victory

Playing with my $75 investment and sticking to the 5% rule, I was down to about $40 last night. Playing the same $75 since late 2007.

Decided to start one more game and choose a $3-90 Player Knockout. Everyone knows at this level of buy-in it brings out the players that just go crazy calling and playing anything.

Well I kept my composure and took my time and took it down for first place. As well as getting 6 or 7 bounties.

So back over $100 for now. I know it is not a lot of money, but I am trying to really stick to the 5% game plan.

Congrats Mike.. i love the 90's... I think it is the softest of the small MTT's... The play can be crazy but just stick to larger hands in the beginning and you will no doubt find yourself doubled and or tripled up within the hour..

If I could just follow my own advice.. I nearly took down two in a row this evening in the $24 90 person KO... I got 1st and 2nd... I had previously hit two in a row back in July..

Ok I am making an official promise here.. for the next week and hopefully more.. I am only playing $24 KO.. I have been terrible in the big mtt for the last month and have blown a ton of cash.. So lets see if I can build it back up by just playing this event which is my best... So if you see me in any other event I want you to scream at me and post something negative about it on here.. I am winning player and a successful player on here but cant seem to control myself from playing out of my bankroll and too many events... So this is my test... I have all those prize winnings (44k) since July 08 and nothing or not much to show for it all.. Sick...
