Do u make deals in tourneys?

Do you propose and accept deals when HU in touneys, specially SNG´s?

Just chop a $75 x 45 in FT with Chipless. I tend to propose deals a lot, as I believe that anything can happen in HU.

I still have faith in my game HU, I played some HU SNG´s as trainning but I do believe that it is pretty much a crapshoot.

So if we´re even, I am proposing to chop ... even if playing against a losing player.

I dont have this problem. This would mean that I'm at a final table

I never hold up a chop, if it is fair....usually a chip chop is the most fair IMO. The chops I've been involved in have rarely gone to heads up.....usually 4-5 handed.

I don't really like them, because I like to try and win. But like I said, I wont be the jerk if it is fair.

On another note....I agree that heads up can be a crapshoot if the structure allows it to be....but I'd contend that deep stacked heads up play is the single most indicator of a players poker skill....just my opinion.

I've chopped heads up four times online now, and it's always worked out.

I won't suggest it, but I'll consider it if it's brought up - with a few conditions:

    1. My opponent and I are similar in skill level.

    2. We have similar chip stacks.

    3. The blinds/antes are pretty high in relation to our chip stacks, so there's really not much play left.

    4. My opponent seems to be someone I can trust to send the chop difference to me if I lose the all-in hand(s).

p.s. - nice playing/chiopping with you last night Victor!

I will only ever chop if the blinds/antes are so high that it takes out some of the skill. That being said, I would not be the one to suggest the chop. My thought is that I bought in, I've already won a lot of money for taking 2nd, and I'm willing to gamble a bit for that first place money.

On stars, if you agree to a chop, hit the 'call customer service' button from the dealer click, and if you both type in agreement to a chop, you no longer have to worry if your chop-happy opponent is honorable or not. i suspect it works the same way on Full Tilt.

And I'm pretty likely to chop live, since most live blind structures are crap-shoots by the time we get to short-handed. I don't like to chop on-line, since I'm usually playing PLO8 and I feel I have a skill edge there.

I've seen that feature on PokerStars, and it's very nice.

Full Tilt doesn't have that option though, so it all comes down to trust...

I will only chop if the money-difference between 1st and 2nd is significant. I have been asked to chop many 45 player games but have never accepted except on the 4 occasions that it was michelle and i heads-up (WHEN SHE MADE ME!!!) and a few other times when i was hu with a friend

I would never chop on Full Tilt. No reason to take even the slightest risk it automatically makes the move -EV for me when I am pretty sure I am +EV by playing out HU with <20 blinds anyway. I would say AT LEAST 10% of players will rip you off even if you are careful about who you offer chops to.

absolutely not worth the risk of chopping on full tilt and risk gettin ripped off

that being said I never chop anyways... I chopped once in my life and it was at greektown (which i was playin in illegally so I was already kind of antsy to leave) It was a $100 tournament and we were three handed...the payouts were $2k, $1k, and $400....we were all dead even in chips with about 8 big blinds each, and someone proposed we take $1,100 each and give $100 to the dealers...it was better than second place money so I took the deal...that is pretty much the only situation in which i chop, and to be honest if i wasn't 18 yrs old in a 21 and up casino with my brothers ID for the first time I probably would have tried to play it out
