So me and a few of my friends are considering pooling our assets so that we can take a shot at tonights event. My odds are long but a even a small cash would be a nice boost to our bankrolls. Also, it is 6 handed and my best showing was 3rd in a $35k 6 handed event a few years back. I figure that I am a better player today and the risk is reduced since I have couple of backers.

My questions is this. What sort of things should I consider being that this is a short handed event? I know that I need to widen my ranges and open up my game. But, any additional advice that I should take note of?

if i had loot id be in it because many people are very bad at 6 max, some of the only mtts i do play are 6 max. Remember if you go deep 30bb is like the minimum these days.

Do you mean treat it like 10BB for shove/fold situations?

I went out early. Caught my flush on the river. Unfortunatley, it made a boat for the villian.
