Fulltilt dies. Sooo sweet. My brother is chipleading the 5050 and I'm top 5 of the 75k just before the FT. **** the split winnings... Meeh oh enough of my complaining thanks for the railing to those who did.

They'll pause it and split depending on stack sizes when it went down. If you're out, you get nothing. If you have a chip, you'll get a small fraction of the prizepool that hasn't been paid out yet. If you're at a final table, OUCH, but think of it as a big chop. If you were chip leader, you won't get first place money, but you'll still get a decent chunk and the highest pay out. If you aren't in the money yet, you get your buy in back. Which makes me wonder, what about the extra money if you just get your buy in back? Even if 5 people have been knocked out in a $26 tourney...what happens to the 120 bucks? Do they get it back too? Or does FT just pocket it...interesting...

    This was on pocketfives.....

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

At approximately 1:09 am ET, April 23, our game servers became unavailable while we performed unscheduled maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and hope to have our site back online as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can check our system status at any time by visiting our website: Online Poker at Full Tilt Poker - About Us: System Status

We will be examining all cases where players were affected by this disconnection issue and compensating players based on the conditions in our Tournament Rule #31:

The following will occur if you were seated at a tournament:

    * If you were playing in a tournament (or Sit and Go) and were "in the money" at the time of the disconnection, you will be awarded with the next guaranteed payout and refunded your tournament fee. In addition, any remaining prize pool will be distributed among all remaining players based on chip count.

    * If the tournament (or Sit and Go) was not yet "in the money" at the time of the disconnection, you will be refunded your tournament buy-in and tournament fee. Your buy-ins will be refunded in the same currency you used to enter the tournament, unless you earned your entry through a satellite, in which case you will be refunded the standard buy-in for the tournament. In addition, any buy-ins from players already eliminated from the tournament will be divided up and distributed among all remaining players based on chip count.

To view our complete tournament rules, please visit: Online Poker at Full Tilt Poker - Tournaments: Tournament Rules

If you were involved in a ring game hand, the hand will be rolled back, returning all funds to you (including instances where you may have folded).

Thank you again for your patience and understanding while we restore our game software, and if you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Regards,

    Tania

That's awesome man, you can't complain about that at all!!! Think about it, you could have ran your kk or qq or ak into aa, you could have been sucked out on, you could have made 1 bad play, gone on tilt, and came in 9th, etc...Yes it sucks you don't get to play it out and possible take it down for more but this is awesome, getting given 10K, saaaweeet! Great score man!!!!

How deep was your bro, what did he get?
