really hard to just say call or fold without any info on the opponent.... Since you did check the flop, your QQ is def underrepped. either nuts/set or monkey shove with a10 k10 or even jj

i don't get your line in this hand at all.
these games have SOOOOOOOOOOO many insanely poor players that i don't get why you don't 4bet and get it in with queens 100%.
next to that the flop check really doesnt make much sense at all.

yo answer your question. i don't think i can fold in this spot ever against some complete random.

Can we really see villain 3betting a PP from the BB which makes a set? I would have to give him more credit than that been a nit JJ+ AK. Flop check seems to me he isnt afraid of an over card on the turn and perhaps looking to check raise the flop, so I rule out JJ/QQ and AK as I would have expected a C Bet. Tough spot with nearly half your stack invested, if Im normally halfway up the hilt Im going all the way and calling but with 1800ish left I would probably fold.

Im defo betting the flop though. If the flop is bet Im pot committed and will call the river shove.

I like your pre-flop line. It sets you up perfectly for your opponent to overplay his hand.

Post-flop, I would bet, and plan to call his all-in check-raise.

As played, I snap call here and smile when he turns up A-10 or A-K.

if u play it like this then no reason for you not to be calling the river unless hes some regular nit u know

but yeah kinda agree that his calling range pre is so wide esp with his opening raise that i would 4bet here quite happily knowing its going in like 99% of the time and that im going to be ahead like 95% of the time

I think I would have played the hand about the same way, but I probably would have bet the flop to see where I was at. I don't mind checking back the flop for deception and to see what he does on the turn.

I would be slightly concerned about KK, AA but i would think they would be betting a flop like that most of the time unless they planned to check raise and are now betting strong given the scarier turn... I could see 1010,99 taking a similar line with the flop check, but I also think it could likely be AK or AQ that turned a flush draw or committed to try to take the pot down when you checked back.

This type of line on this type of board seems to be more of a bluff from someone who got the impression that you didn't have anything when you checked back the flop(against unknown)... i don't play a ton of these $48, but i've definitely seen tons of "awesome" plays

I like checking back in spots to gain equity through deception, but by checking back the flop you don't know where you are at when he comes out betting the pot...
