Thumbs up Biggest Online Tournament Comeback?

Last night Dave and I played a few online tournaments together. It was a brainstorming session, and allowed us to help each other with our games. We played three 45 and one 90-person games, all two at a time. Our finishes were 1st, 5th, 5th and 46th. We invested $104 and cashed for $540. Not a bad performance at all, but just imagine what Dave could do by himself if I wasn't there to hold him back.

Anyways, in the third game Dave took the lead right after the break. We were 13-handed with only 625 chips, the blinds were 150/300 and we were going to be in the blig blind three hands from now. I was under the misconception that our prospects were pretty bleak until Dave showed me otherwise. Over the next 52 minutes, he increased our stack from 625 chips to 67,500 chips and won the whole thing!

One of the most impressive comebacks I've ever seen. Definitely the best online...

For the coolest comeback story I have seen... it was in my home tournament and the guy who pulled it off's name was Ryan, he was notorious for somehow not busting.

He found himself with 75 chips at 75/150 blinds and he was UNDER THE GUN! I am not sure how many players remained but there were at least 8 players with about 30,000 chips in play. He folded his UTG hand and proceeded to ultimately win the tournament after winning his BB allin, SB allin, and many more races.

    Fifty Fifty

Mine was the other night in the 50/50 where I literally had less than 2 BBs and barely cashed at the 153 mark and then came back for 70th.

That's it. Nothing remarkable, but by far my biggest comeback online.

    LOL!

But I'll take it.....maybe the bad stretch has run its course and I'm due for some unreal luck just like the unreal bad luck I have dealt with for the last 2 months.

But this one was actually not even my best run in one day. Boy.....I'm so lucky, people are gonna mistake me for George! JUST KIDDING BUDDY......I dont need you coming after me anymore than you already do

But this was just last year about this time out in Vegas for the WSOP. I decided I was going to play in the $150 freezeout at Caesars when we got in....and I took down a 4 way chip chop for roughly $3500, then proceeded to play in a single table $175 directly after the tourney....

We were 5 handed and I just took a rough one....I believe I got it in with AK versus AQ, and got sucked out on....I was left with a single 25 chip...and I was the BB late in the 50-100 level. I finished that hand with 100 chips when my A5 turned in the wheel on the end. Then, I tripled up the next hand to give me 300 and the button. Then I tripled up when I woke up with KK in the cutoff in the same orbit.....so now sitting with roughly 1000. That is when the magic hand did its work.....I got it in UTG in the same orbit with 3's in a 3 way pot....of course flopped a set to give me about an average chip stack......then AK won a race against the chip leader to make me the chip leader!!! Then I busted everyone from that point....I had such a chip lead headsup that the obligatory chop was not even mentioned! I took the whole thing down!

Phew....I could use another one of those runs.....they are fun

This could only happen on Full Tilt LOL

Tonight in a $26 token frenzy, I endured a REALLY bad suckout on the river, leaving me with 10 chips.

I almost just closed the window, because I didn't have near enough to cover any type of blind.

Somehow it folds to me and the big blind only and I win, so I have 90 chips. (must have been from everyone's ante).

Next thing you know, I have 2900. Then 4600. Soon I have 13k+

Scott insisted that I post that.

I suppose it is a pretty impressive comeback LOL

    Thumbs up It's all skill

Pat Sauer (cusecrusher) is in the spotlight tonight. Four-handed he lost a big pot and was down to only five (5) chips. A half hour later he had all the chips. Incredible comeback Pat!
