    Who are you most like...?

Okay, this may be a re-thread (i'll be honest, i'm too lazy to use the search function to verify), but just wondering who everyone thinks their game is most similair to?

I started thinking about this when a comment was made about my game play at the DPL last saturday.

heck... who do YOU guys most compare my game to?

Me personally, I compare it to a donkey's

On a more serious note, probably Chris Moneymaker, since he's the worst I can think of

Ok I will be the serious one here.. Charlton I think you are closer to a Gus Hanson type than anyone else... I doubt many that have played with you can say they can consistently put you on a hand at any given time.. I think that is very Gus' like.. I also think this leads to very strong post flop play which makes you a very lethal player.. I for one am not fond of dealing w/ you under even the best of circumstances.. I feel my game is best post flop but you and GW are two that I least prefer to play w/ post flop... This also leads to big swings in chip stacks which you also seem to do well with.. You are at your best w/ a big stack rather than gringing w/ a small one.. I know that sounds very basic/simple but most of us are better at one over the other.. We all want to play w/ the big stack but it isn't always the case... Hope this made some sense..

I would like to hear some feed back both positive and negative on my live/online game??? And I guess who you would most associate to my style of play on the pro level.. I'm guessing that pro would be one that continuously goes deep and makes a ton of final tables but rarely ever finishes the deal....lol..

My tournament game is most like.... Well I have no tournament game. I hate tournaments. I play them but I hate them. My cash game play is probably most like Sammy Farha. I will play any two cards aggressively if I think my opponent will fold to pressure. I also have an outlook that most people dont understand, in fact I mentioned it to a couple of guys that i play with just last week and they thought i was nuts. We were talking about a certain guy in our game that is a total nit. He basically just plays the nuts. So I said I didnt know why anyone even gave this guy action since its so obvious what hes doing. There are just a couple of donks that continue to feed him. Anyway, I made the comment that he can play that way and he might double his buy in but he will never have a big night. I then said "I would rather lose three buy ins than sit at a table for 12-15 hours and ony double up"..They all disagreed saying a small win was better than a loss. Not for me. I play for the big score. I want to have a big night or I will lose a few buy ins and go home. This seems to be Sammys philosophy as well when you watch High Stakes. He takes alot of chances and wont hesitate to put his money in on a big draw. Thats pretty much the way I play. Yes, now and then it doesnt work out and I lose 2 or 3 buyins. But thats the most i will lose. When it does work out, I have a huge night leaving with 7-10 times my buy in. If Im going to spend 12 hours at a poker table, Im going to make it worth it.

Sounds just like a true Farha.... I'm not a cash guy (As mentioned previously and insulted for saying so, I might add) but I think if I were to bare down and play for the gold I would take the same attitude...

I think that would be Chris Ferguson... record number of cashes but just a few big wins...
