I didn't ever acquire any chips last night. Instead, I just played poorly from the very first hand.
In fact, my peak chip count was the 5,000 I started with.
By the way, where were you last night? Were you forced to stay home and 'make love' again?![]()

In Ben's defense, I'm not sure how many of us would be disciplined enough to fold pocket Ks when the high card on the flop is a Jack!
Chuck and I were doing battle next to George and Ben, and let me tell you, Ben struggled with calling George's all-in for a very long time. If you've played George at all, the rationale is that he could make that move with any two cards.
However, I am convinced that he would have played that hand very differently with someone other than Ben.
If you're reading this, George.... would you have made the same move against someone like Scott, Nicole or me?
We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don't like.

That is funny i actually told ben he was the only one who would of thought about laying down the kings. Dana if i knew the three of you would of had kings i would but ben is the only person i would of put on aa kk qq. someone like scott i would asume he had ak aq 10 something like that so i just would smooth call.
I regret to report that there was another classic S.C.B.U. last night. In a tournament with 17 players, I had 51,000 of the 85,000 chips in play by the time we got down to five players. Excluding me, that left the average chip stack at only 8,500. And I still managed to blow it. It didn't even seem like that should be possible.SCBU= Scott Cook Blow Up![]()

I recall Ben having about 60% of the chips when we were on the bubble not too long ago. Ben finished on the bubble. That's a pretty good SCBU.
