Question about online poker
Ok, so I deposited some money on FT so that I could play the Bad Beats tourney Wednesday night. Anyway, my question is, how do you keep from being bored out of your mind playing online? I am playing 2 tables and it still bores the snot out of me. I find my self surfing the web, chatting in forums and fighting the urge to play like 8 tables at a time. What do you guys do to offset the boredom?

"You have it in your power to turn a bad-beat around simply by realizing this simple truth: The more bad beats you encounter, the luckier you are. It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone"

I dont have the bankroll (online) to play 6 tables. I would have to play like .5/.10 and even then it would be too much of my roll to have in play at one time. I play 2 and run double monitoring so I can have 2 tables on one monitor and surf the web on the other. But I can feel myself seeing more and more flops as I get bored. I gues I just have to limit my sessions to about an hour or so. Which stinks cause when I play live I do 12-16 hour sessions.
Another question, Do you consider your online bankroll to be seperate from live, or do you just have one? For instance: If you have $1000 online and $5000 live, is it two bankrolls or do you have a $6000 roll?

I have separate rolls...
Another note: Money in play does not matter, it is just money per table. So, if you have $200 it would not be any riskier to run 20 tables with your entire roll than it would be to run 1 table with $10. This is assuming you do not go on tilt.

I will not play a game that I do not have 2000 big blinds for and I wont play a tournament that I do not have 100 buyins for.

2000? How is it even possible to buy in for that amount?
-
I am happy with 100 big blinds.
-
Nevermind. I see what you are saying. You mean 2000 BB in your roll, not as a buyin..lol.. Sorry I had a brain cramp
-
As long as I can buy in for 100 BB and have 10 buy ins for that level I will play.
