Don't remember specs but this is my worst. playing PLO and I am in the BB with 55xx, flop 10 10 5, there's about 4 people that saw the flop. Lee Watkinson in the SB checks, I pet 2/3 the pot, he calls, other fold. Turn J. He checks really quick this time, I bet out almost 2/3 the pot for 1/2 my stack, he insta shoves. I type "SH!T" in the chat room before maxing out and making the crying call stating "nice catch sir" as I call. He turns over j10xx for a bigger full house. River, the most wonderful 5 I have ever seen and I double through Lee Watkinson. Unfortunately I don't stack him cuz I started with aroudn 1500, he 3000. But sick nontheless. If I remember correctly, Lee either FT bubbles or Money bubbles and I take down 2nd for a nice little cash too!

All in a days work! Don't you love 5's on the river Dave!!!!!!!

What should have been a really bad beat for me turned out to be a "bad beat" for my opponent when I failed to give up all my chips to him due to mis-reading my hand. I laid this "bad beat" on a fellow this past Sunday in the BadBeatsPoker.Net live fire hall game near the beginning of the tournament. Everyone at my table was shocked that I didn't bust out on this hand and if I read my hand correctly I (and any other decent player) SHOULD have lost all their chips to this guy. I had pocket Aces and made Aces full of fives on the river. Board was 5 5 K 8 A with no possible flush. I raised preflop and every street and got smooth called each time except on the river I got check raised! My mistake was that I read my final hand as being ONLY TRIP ACES instead of Aces full of Fives. So when he check raised me on the river for 2K more, my poker instincts partly kicked in and looked for a pair on the board which could give my opponent a boat. I thought if he had a five I could get more from him, but if he had limped with KK UTG that I was beat (wrongly) so I JUST CALLED his check raise. So when he flipped over quad fives, everyones jaws dropped when I hadn't gotten it all-in. I still had about half my chips and had built back up to average shortly after.
