poker training/coaching

Can someone suggest me a high quality poker training website or poker coach that can help me improve my game and change a losing player into a winning one?

EJ "cardsfan04" Folks is someone I would recomend, He is a pro at Pokerpwnage.com the best MTT training site out there, he doesnt charge an arm and a leg, he knows what he is doing, he is a contributing member here at BBP.

Ive taken one lesson with him and have 3 more scheduled. Very happy with him.

Just make sure to tell him Cincinnati Reds > St. Louis Cardinals for a BBP discount

I honestly don't think EJ is taking on students. However, Andres and Hershelw are both great coaches who charge about $100/hr which is very reasonable for someone of their reputation and track record.

just make sure whoever you get to be your coach is a legit winner over a huge sample, not a one hit wonder, or anyone with less than like a 15% roi. and usually, you get what you pay for w/ coaching.

100 percent agree,, i saw a poker player on twoplustwo post a coaching thread to teach the 45 man sitngoes he had about 1k games played ... wtf lol ....

A poker trainer does exactly what you need them to do. If you dont understand pot odds/implied odds they teach you that. If you struggle with HU play they teach you that. If you always seem to leak a ton of chips around the FT bubble or cash bubble they make you stronger at this lvl of a tourny.

If you need a child, well.....some will take care of that too

And if i were to invest in someone i would do so from a reputable site.. from anywhere from 100-300$ hr depending on your needs as a player
