I have 13 big blinds, there are 350 chips in the pot, and you think it's wrong for me to shove there? I realize you didn't like the outcome, but I really don't understand why you think this was a bad play.

1.you are shoving over maxshark, whom you know, when he is actually min raising utg.

2.you got 6 guys to act behind you

Even openraising from utg+1 is bad imo in this spott, while shoving is way out there imo

Sorry, but I completely disagree with you. Let's apply your same logic to how you played your hand...

    1. You are shoving over MAXSHARK, whom you know, when he is actually min raising UTG. You are also shoving over Chipless Wonder, who certainly knows this, and still chose to overshove from UTG + 1.

    2. You have five guys to act behind you.

    3. Your starting hand is even worse than mine was.

Im pretty sure you guys both played your hand badly. Vestvik Is right that your shove over Maxsharks open is way to loose considering the players behind you.

But I don't see how vestvik can criticize you and then shove with AK. Although his hand is better than yours in this spot. I know the pair is technically ahead but AK does better in a multiway All-in against semi-tight ranges.

Sorry I posted this thread could someone delete it?

But scott.... My starting hand do insanly better in that spott than yours.

Truelly I was a little fuzzed about having to make the overshove and was arguing myself this might be a fold. Having said that I then have no reason to attack scott from shoving since my calling range here might just be KK,AA

Let's leave it up, since it's turning into a nice discussion, and might actually help my game.

Sorry, but I just don't understand why you think this is the case.

Man I got AK. 5 people behind me doesnt really matter much since im basicly only afraid of your range.
Let me ask you this... What range of hands did you think I might have in that spot? Anything WORSE than A-K?

Cant see how u defend the play however... How is this ever profitable? Just yesterday you gave a 17 bbs shove against btn the range of (88+ AQo AJs KQs)
I'm not necessarily saying that my play was great. I can see that it wasn't. However, I think that your play was even worse than mine, especially since there was already an UTG raise and a shove in front of you, from UTG and UTG + 1 positions.

I'm here to learn, so I won't be offended to realize that I'm a poker idiot...
