Beginner: Should I have played the flop differently?

Flopped OESF draw in the BB. I only had 3 dozen hands on the aggressor. And less than 75 hands on all involved.

While I understand a smoothcall min bet hides your hand alot more I still think a raise to the 18k range is in order here.

IMO your flat seems very week, and then you get a minraise behind and what looks like a Squeeze to push all three of you showing weakness off the hand. Im gonna say the 90k had nothing.

most of the time, you are drawing to 15 outs, or approx 60 percent chance of winning. any time you can get your money in at a better than 50 percent, get the chips in the middle! (if you're up against multiple opponents the odds get trickier but still probably +EV to get it in, unless you're up against a set and a bigger flush draw or something rare like that.) Occasionally you might run into a bigger flush draw or something, but you're close to even money against a set and a favorite over any pair. given the action here, flatting the flop isn't terrible, but after all the raises you gotta get the chips in the middle and gamble for that huge pot that lets you make the deep run to the final table and gets you a shot at the meaningful money.

I agree this was poorly played post flop, but I disagree about being 60% with the 15 outs.

Here is how we match up against some possibly holdings:

    55 we are 42%
    As9s we are 39%
    As2S we are 45%
    J8 we are 49%
    AJ we are 56%
    AsJs we are 31%.
    A8 we are 57%
    98 we are 52%

So, I am not sure what hands we are 60% against. That said, even in the worst case scenarios, we are in pretty good shape, and I think aggressive play post flop is called for.

I guess being OOP and with so many in the pot, the situation caught me off guard. But everyone's advice here is exactly what I needed to know. Stoved several different scenario's (putting SB as Random and varying ranges on the others), after reading these replies, and was pretty surprised at some.

    Much thanks. Appreciate it.

i think i would have popped the flop to something like 22k with intentions of calling a shove. You either take it down or give yourself better odds to be committed with a monster draw.
