Another crazy hand at the Gemini

This one happened a couple weeks ago:

Main table in the mid-afternoon. Most players are sitting with $400+. I'm in cutoff w/ QTh. Super-loose-bad player UTG (Jenna) raises to $18, and it's called 6 ways (of course) to me, so I flat. Button thinks for a few seconds, then calls as well. SB calls. BB (Will) shoves for $350. Down go the dominoes, and I fold also.

Button sits for more than a few seconds this time, and then shoves for $500+ (presumably to get the SB out???????). Neither player turns over their cards, and they kind of look at each other, so the dealer starts peeling.

    7s, 7h, 2s on the flop.
    2 on the turn.
    A on the river.

Will turns over AKs for what appears to be the best hand.
Button windmills his hand to show.....24d.

I throw up in my mouth.

I don't understand the reraise. Forget about the fact that it was a ridiculous play. Stefan was the SB. Wouldn't 24d want a trillion people in the pot, rather than hu vs. the 3-bettor? Stefan probably calls if Steve flats.

IDK .. if you want to gamble like that, you might as well gamble that Fear only has AK, or some other random (unpaired) 2 cards and you're about 65-35 dog than have to face two opponents.

Either that or he soul-read Fear, put him on 23, and knew he had Fear dominated.

He's my boy. But this lol happened today.

I get dealt 55 utg 6handed. I have about 900. Same villain has about 250.

    I make it 16. 4 callers.

Flop comes ak2 rainbow. I bet 38. He makes it 85. I think for a while and then shove all in. He snapcalls. I put him on QJ.

    Turn is a T.

    River is a J.

I turn over my pair of 5s. He says "that's good" and mucks. I win the pot lol.

    42 maybe?

It's a 1-3 ($100-300 buy-in) game, but they have a 70% rule (can buy up to 70% of the big stack at the table), and all the tables are must move. These two factors combine to create huge stacks at the main game.
