Has anyone read this yet?? The first was awesome. I'm stoked. There is a kindle version available but if it's anything like the first tome it's the sort of book you'll want to keep in the wc for repeat viewing!

Why is it 1-3 weeks shipping at Amazon and Barnes for this book? Is it not available yet?

They seem to be out of stock on Amazon at the moment. Vol.1 is my fav. poker book by far (was flipping thru a few HH's today... again). I've probably read it cover-to-cover a half dozen times now.
I've heard Vol.2 is good (been waiting for it since early '09 when it was supposed to come out).
Interested to hear any reviews from anyone who's read it.

I ordered mine from Barnes and Noble the other day and it should be here tomorrow..

I just recently purchased Winning Poker Tournaments Vol. II and it is SO much better than Vol. I. Most players struggle with the late stages of play as well as how to play the varying stack sizes late, and this book covers all of that from 3 different perspectives. Great read, i've read it 3x now and i've had it for about 3 weeks.

edit: Vol. I of Winning Poker Tournaments reads a lot like Vol. III of harrintgon, kinda picks up where they leave off in the sense that its mostly showing hands and more of a "how do you proceed" instead of sitting and going thru what they assume u already know. It def. approaches the game beyond the exploitable harrintgon-esque strategy and into 3-4 bet ranges as well as shove ranges in late, fold equity, and other various factors that each consider in type print prior to making a decision with a hand. I read thru Vol. I of winning poker tournaments, and I felt like it was a good book...but Vol. II is something that you will want to read over and over imo.

I 100% agree. I just received Volume 2 today and it is awesome. A must buy for anyone interested in improving their game.

I was checking again on Amazon last night & noticed that they now have Vol.2 in stock again (prior to seeing this thread update). Going to purchase a copy of it today now for sure!! Really looking forward to checking it out.
