Some time last year I had played my first Omaha 8 tourney at The Orleans and had been seated next to this gentleman who happended to have a laminated card with starting hand selections for Omaha 8 tournament. Thought it was kinda weird. He let me peek at it and it had aceless hands, hands with aces, and pairs. I almost made the final table that night, but never thought about the dude again that is until last week.

Since the hours I put in at the tables, I've been reading alot ...

The Orleans always has some type of special give away for their players every month. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Like I hear the new promotion for August is splashing the pot with 100.00 which for Omaha players aint that great as compared to the Hold Em game players. This months (July) was a seat give away of 200.00 every single hour of the day for the whole month of July. Now that, everyone could appreciate especially when there's not many tables going as this morning it was 4 tables ...

So I want to play perfect (Omaha) poker or atleast as close as I can, So I thought "I hear you knocking, but you can't come in" was appropriate.

So it was my Daughters birthday last week (27yrs) and she came to visit. It was different this time though, she came to enjoy her family (Dad and wife, grams and my bro).
