Ok, so last night, I finished 5th in our league. I did not cash. Although that was a bummer (I shoved with Kings 5-handed and Greg had limped with Aces)...I was happy to a) climb the ladder in points, b) Until Kings...I had seen pocket 4s twice and NO other pocket pair all night, therefore meaning I played the game, not the cards to hang around that long and c) when we got to the final table 9 handed, I had to shove with $1900 on ace 8, and from there, built my way back to $25,000 chips before ending. So, a pretty satisfactory performance by me.

This morning I absolutely have never seen so much snow in my life. I've lived here a long time and normally this would make me SO grumpy....but knowing this is my last winter here, just kind of made me smile.

PLUS, there is nothing more amazing than a day where you have NOTHING to do and NOWHERE you have to be. I don't get these often. I work 12 hour days, have constant leagues and other commitments on the weekends. This was a welcome snow in. As bored as people might think they would be, I have found myself enjoying a full day laying in bed with my puppies and playing FT on the laptop. I cashed in 2 large MTT tournaments, albeit, not for much, but I outlasted a large majority of the field, bubbled another MTT (erg, I won't even get into the suckout that took me out 74th when 72 cash)....as well as cashing in a lot of SNGs today too.

It has become clear to me on this day that a) my house is a mess and there is a shitload of cleaning to be done before anyone would imagine buying it and b) I ought to grocery shop more often, since I ate tomato soup, brownies and Cadbury mini-eggs as my main meals today.

I am sure I'll have more tomorrow. For now, I finally showered at 7pm...gross.....and now back to FT!
