And by grind, I don't mean the absurdly long marathons of poker I played this weekend.

I mean back to work. Today is picture day. Of which I was unaware...so I look like the back side of a horse's ass, which is always good when it will be featured in a yearbook that goes home to just under 500 kids and their parents LOL. I just wasn't motivated to look good at all today, so I kind of rolled out of bed and didn't wash my hair and put in a half ass effort on makeup. So this will be a photo for the recycle bin I'm sure.

I am having a really hard time getting through lately. You'd think things would be easier right now, knowing that I only have 11 weeks of school left before my new adventures, my move, my "fresh start." But maybe all that is just making me more impatient and overly sensitive...who knows. Poker helps. Friends help (all that they can anyway). Day at a time I suppose.

Decided to change my avatar today. Even though I love the Caesar on the poker table photo, I like this one of me outside Caesar's Palace on a 70 degree day with sun. Seeing it makes me more cheerful to know I'll be there in 8 days.

SO...never been to Vegas on opening weekend of March Madness before, but I can hardly wait. I've always been in a bar by 7-8amish, ready to party. This time, I'll be fighting for a seat in a sportsbook more like 3-4amish, since everything is earlier and I'm sure WAY more busy. I probably have no idea the craziness I'm in store for, but I am so close to break, I can taste it.

Today, I picked up a summer babysitting job, and we're doing our summer dance camp again, and of course I always get hit up hard for voice lessons in the summer when kids are bored with nothing to entertain them. So I'm hoping that with all of that income flowing toward me, that I am able to build up a savings account, so I can be a responsible adult for the first time in my life.

Think I'll check out a MTT tonight. I didn't play one last night, and I felt rather incomplete! My experiment of all $2 SNGs didn't go well AT ALL. After playing 16 of them, I was up 24 cents. YUCK. SO not worth it. Time to think of a new plan....
