Ahhhh Friday!

What is it about Friday that makes it so much easier to get out of bed than the other days? I don't know....perhaps I enjoy the Friday morning breakfast my staff has at school where we all sit and BS with each other and take turns providing tasty yumminess for each other.
Maybe it's that I get to wear jeans (which I could live in 24/7 and be a happy girl). Or most likely it's because I always have fun things planned for the weekend and now it's practically here. Who knows....
At any rate.....last night I went to bed after 3am. I went out 33rd in the 28k. I played my ass off and just unfortunately ran into a coinflip at the end that booted me on the river. I am frustrated. Obviously I'm proud of going so far, and this time, farther than just the first cash places....but still....survive a bit longer, make it to final table of one of these....and you're rolling in it. Someday.
I am proud to say that while I played the tournament, I also sat down with my last $16 and turned it into near $400 at a .50/1.00 table. So that is NOT a bad night at all!Between that and my 2 MTT cashes last night (Daily Double A again as well), I actually have a bit of a bankroll now!
I think I may finally take a shot at the 750k on Sunday. I've always wanted to play it, and now I can in good conscience. The donks at the cash table basically bought me into it!
A student teacher here at school is heading to Vegas tonight and I am so envious. I can't wait to go....I only have 5 more days...weather is looking beautiful there.
I also have a friend in a major headining band out there, and I am going to check out some solo show he's doing for a couple nights at a place called The Rampart casino (heard of it, but I think it's a little off the beaten path), so that should be a fun little new place to check out while there. I am starting to plan out my tournament and cash game plan for while I'm there. I love Venetian and Caesar's poker rooms the best. I may actually play one at the Imperial Dump, where we're staying. They have $60 and $80 one, so not too high of stakes and the convenience of checking out one in my own hotel.
The countdown is on!!!
