I surprisingly don't have much to say about it. I got my ass beat, spent time gambling on stupid stuff instead of playing poker, and got quite the tan at the pool.

While I can't complain, I would rate it one of the worst trips out there I've ever been on, luckwise. Not THE worst, but pretty bad.

Got home last night after 2am. Spent the plane ride writing 2 huge blogs - see Adventures in Las Vegas Real Estate for more great reads...and then an absurdly long soul-searching one that I put on myspace, since I felt it was too long and a bit much for a poker forum. It was really some quality blogging time. Ate a fun dip on the plane (feeling like a kid again) and the combination of that and the time zone change made me toss in bed until after 5am until I finally went to sleep.

Awakened by the extreme cold in our house (Dave must have thought we were still in Vegas because he had turned the heat off and it was a chilling 59 in here when I got up), the pain of a sore throat, the nasty smell of me still reaking of smoke and burnt skin (sexy I know) and the sound of Caesar throwing up under the bed.

Home sweet home.
