And things turn around!

Strangely, after a few days from absolute hell last week.....I am having a better week than ever right now.
It is amazing how much easier it is to drag one's ass out of bed when a) the weather is fantastic and b) your bedroom blinds have been replaced with a new $10 cheapass set that does not block light for shit. At any rate, I felt rearin to go for the first time in a long time today.
The weekend was very strange...I had two disgusting nights of live poker - first at Dana's Friday, then our house for Dublin league Saturday. I could not have been seeing worse cards if I tried....but then....
I decide to be very serious and give online another shot. Had a business dinner with Dave, Scott and Suver Friday night, in which we discussed online bankroll. I received a spreadsheet, in typical Scott fashion, showing me what I am and am not allowed to play at my current bankroll. I DID go outside of these rules just a touch, but it proved beneficial.
I had $68 in my account Friday night, and I'm proud to say that as of this morning, I have $389!!!
Here is what I did:
$6 Sit and Gos. 1 table, 9 people (I occasionally played 6 handed, but I prefer 9). I really did well in these...I wish I could look up the exact numbers right now, but of course FullTiltpoker.com is blocked at school (can't imagine why...I mean, if we could start these little kids early, it would really enhance their math skills - just look at Scott, he's living proof that poker and math have a loving relationship).
But I would say, out of 21 I played, I cashed in 15-16 of them. Not exaggerating. I will look it up for real later and see what the actual results were, but I did well.
I played a $10 KO tourny Sunday night and placed 4th of 365. Knocked out 17 people.
I played the 32k last night and finished 84th of 1200some players. Not a huge cash, but a finish to be proud of.
So I really turned it around online this weekend. I still prefer playing live, but it is nice to play in the comfort of your own (newly clean and ready to sell) home at any time of the day or night and not have to socialize, just kind of get in the zone and go. Plus, you still have the support of your friends, as I discover Suver, BillBell and Scott are railing at almost any given tournament....and I for them as well
Other than that, this will be the easiest week of my life. I teach NO classes. We have a visiting author for the week, so kids are in sessions with him all week, and I merely have to exist and make sure they're not goofing.
The house is done and will hit the market ASAP. I can't believe this is reality. Looking forward to getting out of here for Vegas, but realizing more and more how much I'll miss everyone that I'm used to seeing a few nights a week.
