Everything that happens to me lately seems to make me ask "WTF?" So since I'm not in much of a blogging mood lately (I know, am I coming down with something? This isn't like me.....), mainly just because I'm slammed busy with EVERYTHING.......I decided to make a list of my favorite recent WTF moments to get anyone who cares, up to speed with me.

* I would like to preface this blog by saying I am NOT trying to be negative or whiny, I actually am just attempting to see some humor in an otherwise annoying world.

-went to see Baby Mama (hilarious by the way), and a woman directly in front of me has forgotten to turn off her cell phone. Not just a normal ring of course...."Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey. Full blast. She pretends it's not her phone and lets it continue to sing.

-drove 2 hours to play a WSOP satellite in Wheeling just to find out that ONLY THE WINNER gets any payout. Awesome.

-the autistic kid who LOVES music class, apparently does NOT love ME....for he slapped me in the eye yesterday, making sure to get a little nail in there so that I have a nicked up cornea.

-Allergies. Sticky red eyes that I can't put any makeup on, usually for a period of 10 days...welcome to day one.

-someone who looked at our house this past week said in the feedback that it showed extremely well but "didn't turn their crank" LOL!
Never heard that expression before.

-got an email from the singing competition I'm doing in 2 weeks....asking me if I need to purchase audience tickets. Apparently this show is NOT open to the public, ONLY contestants can buy tickets and it has to be done by May 10th. Sooooo......all I have is Dave and me, and I already bought backstage passes for both of us in October......well I guess I don't get any tickets to sit in and watch any of the show from the audience unless I buy tickets. At $50 a pop. So there goes more $$ flying out of my wallet for this thing.....

-BillBellBillBellBillBell is retiring from poker?!?!?

-Charlton calling my all-in at DPL and turning over A6 against my pocket 7s, and flopping a 6 and naturally rivering another 6.....

-went to see the movie "Made of Honor" with Patrick Dempsey. He plays some cocky, arrogant, skank of a man who is sleeping around with tons of women and he has all these "rules" about women aren't allowed at his place, he won't see them back-to-back nights, etc. The best is he "invented" that dumb cardboard ring that Starbucks puts on their coffee so you don't burn yourself, and he supposedly gets 10 cents for every one produced. He ends up meeting this really "good" girl who he becomes friends with and then eventually, once she's taken, he decides he needs to steal the bride. So he is going to change his ways, become this great guy, and prove to her that she is wrong choosing the other guy. It was a cute movie, but this past year really poisoned my mind on love movies. I hate them now, because it is extremely ridiculous to believe things like that would ever happen. People rarely change.

-Found out today that we won't be buying a condo in Vegas after all. Turns out that since I am not sticking with teaching, and trying something new, I am viewed as "not stable." LOL - of all the unstable people I know, I can't get a loan.......hilarious. So now, it's back to apartment life, and have to find one that allows 3 small mutts.

-Last but not least. There is a new musical opening at the Rio called "All In- a poker musical" LOL! So, they are having tryouts for this musical, guess when..........on Saturday May 10th..yep THIS Saturday. So I won't be making it to those, since I'll be back out there about 2 weeks later. That right there would be my DREAM job, but the timing sucks. If I ever do get to try out for said show, you all must promise me you'll come see it on a future Vegas trip!
