Only 1 more month of poker

Somebody needs to get me a calendar.
If you told me that today was the middle of July I might believe you. We are already 4 days into august and I just now realized it is no longer july.
Since it is august, that means I have 1 more month of poker in me. Then I'm done.
This year will be my junior year as a physics major. Junior year is known as the hell year and I am expecting it to be grinding my Quantam, Thermal, and Electromagnatism homework a little more than the tables.
Also, I just now starting to realize how much money I am making and losing per day. Just 2 days ago I cashed in a tournament for 3k and thought nothing of it. A week before that, I lost 3k online and 1k at the Gemini and didn't even sweat it.
Yet, if I found even 100 dollars on the ground while walking to class, I'd be estatic. Even thoguh I am using good bankroll management and pokerwise, I'm doing ok; lifewise, it's kind of crazy for me to be on these types of swings.
Since I haven't even started paying back student loans; and since I am always needing to borrow money from my friends to buy a gatorade after a run; and I really have the ability to really help my family back home out; it doesn't really make sense for me to have so much money just sitting on some online playing card game accounts.
So I got till the middle of september before I quit the game. So I might as well set a few goals for the next little over a month.
Just handplay wise, I want to get better at potcontrolling at trapping. Fix some of my bigger leaks in the game. Basically fix all of these: http://www.badbeatspoker.net/forum/b...g-so-hard.html .
I want to have a big score in a major tournament. I played an MTT last sunday and had lots of fun. I might see if I can do something in a pokerstars tournament or something.
I will set a strict stop loss on me from now on. I will not lose more than 1.5k in one day from here on. I want to be in cruise control as I get closer to the finish line and don't want to risk having a major downswing to finish it off.
I'll probabally be playing again next summer when I get a break from school (since this is the most addicting game every made), but until then, you might see me at gemini on the occasional sunday afternoon, but that will be about it. Of course, I probabally won't be posting here very much either from now on so try not to miss me too much
gg everybody.
