Set on a straight flush board

1-3 Live Cash Table, about $240 in chips.

    from EP

One limper, we also limp, followed by two more limpers, and the SB completes.

BB looks at his card and raises to $28.

We tank and call. One late position player calls, so we are three-handed with ~$90 in the middle. I don't have much information on the two players, except that the initial raiser is very much a regular winner, and not a huge risk-taker that I have ever seen. No info on the young caller who likely grew facial hair to make himself look older than 12.

    The flop is

The tightish BB bets out $80. He has more than we do, and the third player has a similar stack to ours.

    What's your play?

My guess is that the BB has an over pair with the flush draw. I don't put the BB on AKspades or AQspades, since I think he would slow down a bit with the nut flush. I'd have to see one more card. But in doing so, I don't want to make it too easy on the guy behind you to insta-call because he has the Ace of Spades. I raise.

Assuming you raise. How do you play the turn card? If you hit the boat, and assuming the BB checks because of the pair on the board, I bet 40% the pot, hoping for at least one chaser. If the turn card is a rag and the BB checks, I push all-in.

Push, no reason to give any free cards here. We are ahead more often than not and when we are not ahead we are drawing to many outs. Don't take the risk of sticking it in further behind on the next street by calling.

    Folding seems absurd.

It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone"
