    Too loose in Early position?

This might seem like a minor hand, but I find this happens to me a lot and I am wondering if I am playing too loose in early position. Should I just fold this pre flop? I feel like I am set mining in my own raised pots.

A strong indicator that I should not be playing this hand is that I got called in two places, was still good, made a continuation bet that was called by utter garbage (I mean, really, are these people serious? Calling pre flop with A6o and 24o? TWO FOUR OFFSUIT?), was still good on the turn but had an unplayable hand because of the board texture and position.

I say take a shot. If you miss the flop though I don't put another cent in. Of course I suck though.

    Another early hand

I have a habit of stacking off to made hands, stubbornly thinking, "well, I am not going to just put him on a flush." The problem is, I feel like I just don't beat that many hands in this situation. Though, now upon looking at the hand after the fact, i wonder if I gave up on this too early. After all, the beginning stages are when I want to take advantage of the fish before they give their chips to other players.

(Does anyone know why it won't let me post a bunch of these converted hands in the first thread? WHen I try, I get an internal server error)
